Made kickwell cardboard template

Made the 1st cardboard template. 2 sheets of 16 gauge should be enough. I will just cut it out with a jig saw and put the bends in.

Then I will template the brace next and I have some flat stock to make that with. Probably go with a more rib style open design so I can get paint in behind it.

The open area remaining is part of the floor pan, which I have, and just need to trim to fit.

Installed the new flywheel.  Installed the new clutch.  Installed the clutch fork and throw out bearing  And then the bell housing  Installed a new transmission tailshaft seal.  I built a sled to drag it into place under the car and there's a bolt that fits the center of my jack through the center board. I may have to pull the shift cause there's exactly 19 inches under the pinch weld and thats the same to the shifter nub.

Oil pump and pick-up install

12/10/2018 New oil pump and pickup tube installed and torqued to spec. This ones not mangled. Next is to check oil pan pick-up clearances and warm up the gasket and drape it over the pan for a while. I am probably going to have to heat the garage for 24 hours to get the rtv to set right.
