Finished shift handle mod

The finished product looks much like it did with the little plastic sleeve as a mount. The difference is, it is really as solid as a rock. This is after a ton of grinding and center punch and drilling to make divots for the pressure screws. Next project: fabricate a manual trans tunnel conversion.

Installed the new flywheel.  Installed the new clutch.  Installed the clutch fork and throw out bearing  And then the bell housing  Installed a new transmission tailshaft seal.  I built a sled to drag it into place under the car and there's a bolt that fits the center of my jack through the center board. I may have to pull the shift cause there's exactly 19 inches under the pinch weld and thats the same to the shifter nub.

Oil pump and pick-up install

12/10/2018 New oil pump and pickup tube installed and torqued to spec. This ones not mangled. Next is to check oil pan pick-up clearances and warm up the gasket and drape it over the pan for a while. I am probably going to have to heat the garage for 24 hours to get the rtv to set right.
