Finished Passenger side, cut the drivers side and worked on the door hinge mount plates.

Today was a crazy productive day. I cut the drivers side floor pan. At least the rear part. I ground the spot welds back and wire brushed the seam sealer out. I cut the new floor pan and test fitted it which included beating the frame rail square. A little bend here and a little whack there.

I think i am going to try to butt weld the front of the pan and the transmission tunnel portion. Worst that happens is i blow through and have to grind back and fill the holes. I have these neat butterfly weld clips so i will cut through both pans and clip them together. I also use a copper spoon to back the welds which stops most blow through.

Next step is to drill 24 or so plug weld holes on the outer rocker and the back seat lip. Then flap disc it all to bare metal and hit with weldable primer.
For the rusty areas that are not getting welded i am going to try some rust converter primer called "corroseal" and then either a primer sealer or por15 top coat. I wasn't happy with how the por15 top coat stuck to the metal even after the phosphoric acid metal prep was done.
Seat mounts on the passenger side are in.

Cleaned up the door hinge mounts, removed the rust with phosphoric acid and hit them with primer-sealer. I removed the bolt that was sheared as well. Someone decided to try and make off with one while i was taking the picture.
