Fuel pump

 So I grabbed a fuel pump from a friend with a new edge gt. I forgot the new edges use a return less fuel system. The pump doesn't run all the time so it's in debate if it will work. In a foxbody housing. I'd hate to put her together and it doesn't work so it's worth the money to get the right part. If it was more accessible I would mess with making the new edge pump work.



With some clever shopping I found a fuel pump delivered for $40. The Delphi and Denzo pumps are basically double the price.

Installed the new flywheel.  Installed the new clutch.  Installed the clutch fork and throw out bearing  And then the bell housing  Installed a new transmission tailshaft seal.  I built a sled to drag it into place under the car and there's a bolt that fits the center of my jack through the center board. I may have to pull the shift cause there's exactly 19 inches under the pinch weld and thats the same to the shifter nub.

Oil pump and pick-up install

12/10/2018 New oil pump and pickup tube installed and torqued to spec. This ones not mangled. Next is to check oil pan pick-up clearances and warm up the gasket and drape it over the pan for a while. I am probably going to have to heat the garage for 24 hours to get the rtv to set right.
