Some new suspension parts

Grabbed some new suspension parts specifically to replace the really rotten quad shocks.
I will clean up the brackets and the bolts I am replacing the studs with, will get welded to the brackets and will need the heads ground back to sit flush on the frame.
I found the quad shocks by searching by part number on a few different sites. They are listed as steering dampers and are less then half the price of what quad shocks go for.
I am finding some brick and mortar stores are running a but cheaper than online retailers for oe style car parts.

Installed the new flywheel.  Installed the new clutch.  Installed the clutch fork and throw out bearing  And then the bell housing  Installed a new transmission tailshaft seal.  I built a sled to drag it into place under the car and there's a bolt that fits the center of my jack through the center board. I may have to pull the shift cause there's exactly 19 inches under the pinch weld and thats the same to the shifter nub.

Oil pump and pick-up install

12/10/2018 New oil pump and pickup tube installed and torqued to spec. This ones not mangled. Next is to check oil pan pick-up clearances and warm up the gasket and drape it over the pan for a while. I am probably going to have to heat the garage for 24 hours to get the rtv to set right.
